Who we are

Gravitat (“we”, “us”) is a design and engineering studio based in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. We are responsible for the personal information described on this page. You can reach us at gravitatstudio@gmail.com or on 077 148 1225.

What we collect

When you send a brief through the contact form, we receive what you type: your name, email address, and — if you choose to give them — your company, phone number, budget range, the services you tick and your message, plus the time you sent it.

When you email or call us, we receive whatever you send or tell us, along with your email address or phone number.

When you simply browse the site, we don’t collect anything ourselves. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. The fonts and images are served from our own site, not from third parties.

Cookies

We don’t set any cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from bots and attacks. It is not used to track you or to show you adverts.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about your project.
• To prepare a quote and, if we work together, to deliver the project.

We don’t sell, rent or trade your information, we don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Where it is stored and who can see it

Briefs sent through the form go straight to a database in Google Firebase, and can only be read by the Gravitat team after signing in. Your browser only connects to Firebase at the moment you press send. Emails you send us are held by our email provider, also Google. The website itself is hosted by Cloudflare.

Google and Cloudflare may process data on servers outside Sri Lanka. You can read how they handle it in the Firebase privacy information and the Cloudflare privacy policy.

We only share your information with anyone else if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry becomes a project, we keep the related correspondence for as long as we work together and for as long as we need it for our records afterwards. Enquiries that don’t lead to a project are deleted within two years. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent for us to keep using it. Just email gravitatstudio@gmail.com and we will act on it promptly. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Authority of Sri Lanka.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. See also our terms of use.
