Cricket Live Scoreboard & Overlay
Broadcast graphics for live-streamed cricket: a scorer on a tablet, an operator on the graphics desk, and an overlay composited into the stream.

(Overview)
Local cricket streams deserve the same on-screen graphics as television. We built a system where a scorer records every ball on a tablet, a graphics operator decides what goes on air, and a live overlay drops into OBS — and on to NDI for professional vision mixers. It runs on the ground’s local network, so a weak internet link never takes the scoreboard down — and it is already on air at local matches.
(What we built)
- 01A pure TypeScript scoring engine covering every delivery type, with tests
- 02A LAN-first server — Fastify, WebSockets and SQLite — holding authoritative match state
- 03Touch-first scoring panel designed for fast, error-proof entry mid-over
- 04Graphics control panel with lower-thirds, cards and animated transitions
- 05Browser-source overlay for OBS, plus an Electron shell for offscreen capture and NDI
- 06Wagon wheel, worm and Manhattan charts drawn live from ball-by-ball data
