Gravitat POS
An offline-first till for Sri Lankan grocery shops — selling, stock, credit tabs, suppliers and reports, with every rupee accounted for.

(Overview)
Most small shops here run on a till, two notebooks under the counter and a lot of memory. We built a point of sale that replaces all three. It runs on the shop’s own PC with no internet required, keeps money and stock in an append-only ledger so the two can never disagree, and gives the owner a read-only view of the day from their phone. It is ready to install today — pay once and it is yours.
(What we built)
- 01Keyboard-first till: scan, search or tap, then cash, card, split or credit
- 02Stock that empties itself — every sale writes a stock movement in the same transaction
- 03Customer tabs and supplier accounts, paid oldest-debt first, with ageing
- 04Returns, held bills, discounts and per-person permissions enforced in Rust
- 05Owner dashboard and six reports, all exportable to Excel
- 06ESC/POS receipt printing, several tills over the shop’s own network, and cloud backup
