VEGA — Concept Site
A launch site for South Asia’s first all-electric supercar, made for fun — crimson paint, dark studio light, and specs you can play with.
(Overview)
VEGA builds an all-electric supercar in Colombo, and we wanted to see what its launch site could feel like. So we made one. This is a self-initiated concept: VEGA did not commission it and is not affiliated with it. Dark studio photography, wide display type and a crimson that runs from the paintwork into the page; a different WebGL background behind every section, and numbers you can hold, launch and spin instead of just read.
(What we built)
- 01Hero with callouts pinned to the car — carbon body, in-house electronics, dual-motor AWD
- 02Power, torque, 0–100 and range counters that count up as they scroll in
- 03Hold to launch: press and hold to run 0 to 100 km/h against the clock
- 04A spinning wireframe of the 55 kWh battery pack, with modules, coolant loop and BMS labelled
- 05Four hand-written WebGL shader backgrounds, a different one behind each section
- 06No framework — one hand-built page of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
